Bruce Adderly Sound Studios Pty. Ltd. opened in West Melbourne in March 1974 where it successfully ran for 12 years. In 1986. the Studio was relocated to a 10 acre rural property at Kialla in North Eastern Victoria offering our clients an opportunity to work in a creative, beautiful relaxed environment away from all the pressures of the city.

Prior to establishing the studio Bruce Adderly was a Senior Audio Director with HSV Channel 7 Melbourne for 15 years where he was responsible for all major live variety shows including Sunny Side Up, The Mike Walsh Show and many more, he also engineered as series of Live to air Dramas with producer Peter Coates from the BBC. Other dramas included Consider Your Verdict, Homicide and Cop Shop.

Bruce was Audio Director for many live Outside Broadcasts of major Sporting Events including Tennis, Motor and Horse Racing, AFL and Water Skiing to name a few. He also engineered award winning Television Specials produced by Norman Spencer, these included Ray Charles, Herb Alphert, Andy Stewart and Gene Pitney all at Festival Hall Melbourne, Shirley Bassey at Checkers Night Club Sydney, Marlene Deitrich at the Princess Theatre and the huge Seekers Concert at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl.
